 Retro The Retro Series of management, executive and conference seating responds to the needs created by changes in work patterns in today's office environment. "Conferencing and collaboration are playing ever larger roles on the daily agenda of executives and managers, thus the requirement for an elegant chair that can bring contemporary comfort to the table and that can also do double duty behind the desk", says designer Kevin Stark. Characteristic of the design are the sleek wedge shaped seat, the taut curved back and the fluid sweeping arms.etro arms are connected by an optional jewel-like bar that wraps around the back of the chair form, making the design equally eye appealing from both the front and rear view. Retro is smaller scaled - a narrower, thinner profile influenced by classic modern European design. The series includes two styles distinguished by different seating mechanisms - synchro and knee tilt. High back and mid back versions are among the options as is a semi-attached cushion with channel stitching. Arms are offered in cast aluminum with matching concavities suitable for optional elbow pads of self-skin polyurethane or upholstery; molded black urethane arms are also available for those high use areas. Bases may be specified in polished aluminum or black metal. |
